DEAREST EVERYBODY,
HI HI How is everyone today? I'm in taipei, been rather free these few days, so I went shopping and eating. Not too bad at all. bahahaha.
I also realise that flowers in taipei is cheap. The other day when I went to Yang Ming Shan, the calla lillies were only NT$100 for 7!!! And today I bought really really pretty flowers (they are my favourite flowers but I don't know what they are called), for NT$150!!!!! In Singapore they would have cost NT$400!!! So you see, it is affordable to buy flowers for your home, or your gf/bf if you stay in taiwan.
Today the newspaper said I make NT 1 billion in 8 months. Seriously if I make even half of that, I would be a pompous ass. Most things would have very little value and I wouldn't hesitate buying a S$700 jacket!! But I did, because money is earned, they don't fall from the sky. And I'm happy with the $70 one I have and the other stuff paid for by my company. But I also ogle and covet branded stuff because I'm sometimes materialistic and they comfort my pretentious needs for recognised symbols.
What is the moral of the story?
Again, there are none. Because I'm not a saint so don't expect me to be one. I live within my means and help within my means.
Honesty sometimes, is most controversial.
Anyway, i think some plants in the house is really uplifting, very fetching.
love, yz
